Publix Picks Flagler Beach Location at Roberts Rd and SR100 for Next Store

Publix had also considered a Colbert Lane @ SR100 site

August 24, 2007 – Palm Coast, Florida – There has been a lot of talk about a new Publix on SR100. Various locations have been mentioned. A reliable source tells me that Publix has decided to build their next Flagler County store on the northwest corner of SR100 and Roberts Road in Flagler Beach. The site will be developed with other retail space similar to the new Town Center store. No construction date has been set.

    Are you kidding me?

This new store will make three Publix’s on the South half of town, with nothing to serve the North half (unless you consider the Hammock store, which you have to pay a toll to even access). What is Publix thinking, why can’t we get a store on the Northside of town? Come to think of it, why can’t we get Belle Terre 4 laned and beautified? None of the city council members must live on that side of town and therefor consider us unimportant. I think we should vote them out this September!

Happy that Publix is showing interest in our marke

I’m happy to see Publix is showing interest in our market. One new Publix andwhere in the county is worth more than 10 Winn Dixie or Food Lion stores.

Cant we get a Trader Joes

Why does Publix have to be so ubiquitous…cant we get a Trader Joes or a Fresh Market for good whole foods and affordable prices
