Boat Show Coming to Sunset Inlet

Grand Haven Realty is sponsoring the event at the new beach and boating community on Beverly Beach on A1A north of Flagler Beach.

Palm Coast, FL – April 17, 2013 –  Sunset Inlet will be the site for a spring Boat Show featuring a variety of boats, along with food, music and prizes. Grand Haven Realty is sponsoring the event at the new beach and boating community on Beverly Beach. Some 30 boats will be displayed on land and on water at the Sunset Inlet boat slips. The event is co-presented with MarineMax, Boat Tune, and local radio stations Kix Country, Beach 92.7, WNZF and Oldies 100.9. Admission and parking are free. The boat show hours are Saturday 10 – 6 and Sunday 10-5.

The weekend event, scheduled for April 27 and 28, will also feature food, entertainment and door prizes including a chance to win a $50,000 grand prize from area radio stations who will broadcast live at the event.

“A boat show is the perfect way to introduce the unique setting at Sunset Inlet,” said Jim Cullis, President of Grand Haven Realty. “Boating is a big part of the lifestyle at Sunset Inlet and this event will be a fun way for people in the area to experience the community.”

The show will feature boats up to 35' and some of the most popular makes and models. Boats will be on display floating in the docks of the inlet and along paved areas around the community. Three new homes now under construction by Emerald Homes will also be available for "dusty shoes" tours including a preview of the Windward model home planned to open later this spring.

A pontoon boat "stage" will feature music both days. Saturday local beach-style music will be featured from Noon to 3pm. Sunday, Grand Haven's own Pat the Jazz Man will play from Noon to 3pm. Complimentary refreshments will be available while they last both days.

The radio stations will do live remote broadcasts on site during the event and have prize giveaways. The Southern Sportsman Show will air live on WNZF followed by a Beach 92.7 broadcast on Saturday. Easy Oldies 100.9 will broadcast live Sunday. Visitors at the Boat Show will have a chance at instantly winning a $50,000 cash prize in a spin-to-win contest sponsored by the radio stations good toward the purchase of a new boat from MarineMax or Boat Tune. Sunset Inlet is a community of 31 homes located on A1A approximately two miles north of Highway 100. Each home includes a dedicated boat slip in the protected inlet with direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW.) The community also has beach access across A1A.
