Wings Over Flagler Returns with Rockin’ the Runways
Flagler County Airport hosts air show next Friday and Saturday
Palm Coast, FL – April 17, 2014 – Flagler County’s premiere air event and music festival join forces to host an all new spectacular Warbird Fly-In and music festival at the Flagler County Airport, Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26.
Tickets are $10 and kids under 10 are free. This two-day event will feature incredible static displays of aircraft from every era. It will be a family friendly event that will have something for everyone including live music, airplane and helicopter rides, great food, a kids play zone, fireworks finale and more.
Meet the pilots Friday evening and enjoy live music featuring the Billy Joel tribute band Turnstile. On Saturday, enjoy a full day of activities including live air demonstrations throughout the day, music starts at noon on the Budweiser Family KIA Stage featuring an incredible lineup of bands including 1984 Van Halen tribute band, and The Long Run, Eagles Tribute band taking the stage on Saturday night. The evening will be closed out with an exciting display of fireworks.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the William “Wild Bill” Walker Memorial Scholarship and Flagler County Adult Education.
Preferred parking at the airport is offered for $5 and free parking with shuttles is available at Flagler Palm Coast High School. Bring lawn chairs and stay for the day. There are no advance ticket sales, but $3 off coupons for the gate price will be available this weekend at local Kangaroo convenience stores. Please, no pets or coolers.
