Toby’s Palm Coast Home in Grand Haven is Available

This 2,425 SF pool home is on one of the finest lots in Grand Haven. Enjoy sea breezes while sitting on the lanai, looking over a large lake to the 11th hole of a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course.

Palm Coast, FL – July 13, 2011 – Until our recent downsizing to a condominium in Tidelands on the Intracoastal, Shirley and I enjoyed our 2,425 SF pool home in the gated community of Grand Haven in Palm Coast, FL. Now, you too can experience the lifestyle we so much enjoyed there.
Sixteen Players Circle in Grand Haven - Palm Coast, FL by Toby TobinSixteen Players Circle is situated on one of the Grand Haven’s most desirable building lots. The rear of the house faces northeast, reducing the direct exposure to summer sun. The oversized lanai faces a large lake and the par-five eleventh hole of Grand Haven’s Jack Nicklaus signature golf course. It was a great entertainment venue (over 80 people at one party) and an attraction for grandchildren. The lanai is accessible via three separate sliding doors. The picture at the right is a sunrise view from the lanai.
The home was built by Discovery Homes, recognized at the time as one of the area’s best value builders of homes with distinctive architectural features. The living, dinning, kitchen, and dinette areas form the core of the split great room plan with 12′ ceilings and several architectural features. Three bedrooms, a spacious flex-room (which could serve as an office or fourth bedroom), two full baths, and a large laundry room all have 10′ ceilings.
Of course you get to enjoy Grand Haven’s many amenities with an option to join the Grand Haven Golf Club.
Additional features:
  • Water-saving circulating hot water loop for practically instant hot water anywhere.
  • Pest tubes
  • Solar tube for natural daytime lighting in the kitchen
  • Surround sound speakers in the ceiling
  • Corian countertops and 42" cabinets in kitchen
  • Solar attic fans
  • Storage cabinets in both garage and laundry room
  • Heated salt water pool and spa
  • Florida basement over garage with extra-wide fold down stairs and extra shelves
  • 1.2 gpf toilets
  • Laundry sink and second refrigerator in laundry
  • Etched glass above great room sliders
I departed from traditional advice which typically recommends selling while the home is still occupied. But sellers should remove all "clutter" such as pictures and photographs. Our home was "cluttered" with scores of family pictures. You could hardly discern the color of the refrigerator beneath the attached photographs so I decided to list the house "unoccupied." To overcome the stark appearance of a vacant home, I engaged Vlaja Telfer (352) 538-6603 to do some staging; mostly decorative accessories to dampen the vacant look.

    Nice Looking Home

Where were you in March? 🙂 Just kidding. We bought 18 N. Village Pkwy. Can’t wait to get there permanently, Toby. I’ve been reading your site every day since Feb, originally in anticipation of purchasing. After we’re finally getting to G/H, no more shuttle launches and no more Toby! Good Luck.

Free Draft Beer in Palm Coast

Toby – Excellent on line ‘Showing’ with nice staging and great t u n e !
It reminded us of the Palm Coast of all last Century – Little known was that the Palm Coast Golf Course did not have a Liquor license yet so….All the FREE Drafts Beer anyone wanted; obviously great tipping for the staff; then…after that we would go to the pledged Amenity Palm Coast Yacht Club and have a very reasonable dinner and free entertainment with the Cord-0-vox and other Musicians playing and lotsa’ dancing then…a lot of us would then take the free Boat Water Taxis to our Palm Coast Oceanside Beach Club / Palm Coast Oceanside Motel/Resort and go to the ‘Junkanoo’ lounge there and we would sing and dance under the stars …then the shuttle and water taxi back to Palm Coasts’ ‘Observation Tower’…
The tune brought back nice memories and we hope you nail a sale very soon.
( also, when the Federally ordered one stop shopping center came, the Publix offered Canapes, H’odeuvres and wine…
We were very happy Palm Coasters , first FREE drafts, then Wines with eats, then cocktails at our Palm Coast Yacht Club..then RUM at our ‘Junkanoo Lounge’ Oceanside…
What a great life ITT Levitt Promised and delivered all last century…
