Rehab Your Home Through Palm Coast’s Housing Rehabilitation Program
Financial assistance for up to $80,000 may be available for a new roof, doors, windows, deteriorating plumbing, electrical, mold or other major rehab projects.
Palm Coast, FL – December 1, 2011 – The City of Palm Coast is accepting applications from qualified individuals wishing to rehab their homes to elevate its value and help stabilize our local neighborhoods. This Housing Rehabilitation Program is aimed to bring resident’s primary homes back up to minimum standards, funded through a grant from the State of Florida. Financial assistance for up to $80,000 may be available for a new roof, doors, windows, deteriorating plumbing, electrical, mold or other major rehab projects. Cosmetic repairs are not eligible.
The home must be in Palm Coast and be occupied by the owner. The owner must not be delinquent in their mortgage payment and must meet income guidelines.
The City will hold a special workshop on Friday, December 9th at 5:30 p.m. for the public to learn more about how to qualify for this program. The workshop will be held at the Flagler County Administration Building, 1769 E. Moody Blvd. in Bunnell. For more information, please call 386-313-4037.
The application period for the program is currently CLOSED and will be opened on December 12, 2011; delayed from December 1, 2011 because applications have been unavailable.
