Panera Bread Serious About Palm Coast

A new bakery-café is said to be in the planning and design phase for a location in Palm Coast Town Center

Palm Coast, FL – January 13, 2011 – As Olive Garden and Red Lobster plan their upcoming openings in Palm Coast’s Town Center, word comes to GoToby.com of another well known and long anticipated arrival. Panera Bread is said to be in the planning and design phase for a location in Town Center.
Panera Bread® owns and franchises 1,421 bakery-cafes as of September 28, 2010, under the Panera Bread®, Saint Louis Bread Co.®, and Paradise Bakery & Café® names in 40 states and in Ontario, Canada. Among these locations, 605 are Company-owned and 816 are Franchise-operated. Until Palm Coast has its own Panera Bread, the nearest bakery-cafes can be found in St. Augustine, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, and New Smyrna Beach.
Among features of Panera Bread’s bakery-cafes is a meeting room and free Wi-Fi Hotspot.
Other news (not rumors): Dunkin Donuts recently opened in Town Center sharing a building where a Pizza Hut carry-out will soon be located. And Hurricane Patty’s opened along the Intracoastal Waterway in Flagler Beach (where Mad Dogs by the River used to be). Plus Sandy’s (for seafood) opened on Old Kings Road N (former Lucky Buffet, Pizza Hut).

    PANERA BREAD

The St. Augustine Panera Bread opened last week with a tremendous welcome. Lines out the door, drive-in full. Palm Coast, I think, would welcome this first-class establishment. I hope it comes to fruition. Good luck.
