Palm Coast Sam’s Club Rumor has New Life

April 2, 2008 – Palm Coast, FL – On or off – you decide.  I’ve been unable to corroborate the facts, but I received an email from a GoToby reader recently. She said that a Sam’s Club representative was recently in the area selling club memberships to local businesses. My source asked why Sam’s didn’t have a Palm Coast store. The representative responded that Sam’s owned land near Belle Terre and SR100 and that they were planning to build a store there once they finished one recently begun in Cocoa, FL.

 

There are only a few possible parcels in the area, but none owned by Sam’s or Wal-Mart. If the rumor has any legs, Sam’s probably has only an option. Keep in mind that the statement came from a Sam’s rep trying to sell local memberships and that sometimes sales reps exaggerate or confuse the facts.
