Palm Coast, FL – February 24, 2015 – Palm Coast has several commercial projects approved and under construction. Join GoToby.com in a drive around town to see how they are progressing.
The first stop was at the SW corner of SR 100 and Seminole Woods Pkwy. No site development can be seen, but CCS Construction LLC has applied for a building permit for a Convenience Store with a Racetrac gas station on the site. The stated cost on the application is $1,200,000.
Next, GoToby.com swung by Town Center to see how the New City Hall is coming along. There is a lot of activity on the site. It was evident that some concrete had been poured, but nothing vertical yet.
Also in Town Center is a significant residential project. Palm Cost Landing – Senior Living is an age 55+ campus under construction on Landing Blvd, west of Target. This complex is being built by the same company that constructed Beach Village Apartments on SR 100 at Roberts Road. Community amenities at Palm Coast Landing – Senior Living will consist of Wi-Fi café, shuffleboard courts, arts-and-crafts room and fitness center, according to the company’s website. Completion is expected this summer.
GoToby.com’s next stop was 295 Pine Lakes Pkwy at the corner of Wynnfield Dr. Site work is underway here on a 4,250 square foot Convenience Store/gas station. This project is permitted with an estimated cost of $1,045,000.
Headed east on Palm Coast Pkwy, GoToby.com stopped to snap some pictures at the Chick fil A. It’s taking shape nicely. A March 19th opening is planned. Be sure to check out this link for information on Chick fil A’s Grand Opening First 100 Rules and Details.
The last stop was the former Palm Coast Shopping Center, soon to be reopened as Island Walk. Some of the new shops on the west side of the site have gone vertical. If you remember the old tomato stand; that’s about where the new strip stores are being built. The new Publix site is busy with site development. The only thing vertical at this stage are some light poles.

That would be Sawmill Creek, phase I – 259 homes. All residential. Will total 1,900 units when built out.
Land clearing/construction Route 1
A large area has been cleared on route 1 (West side) about 2.5 mikes from the 95 exit 298 going South. Looks like it could be a major project. Any idea on what might be planned for this site? Thanks. J
