Palm Coast Flagler Foreclosure Sales Schedule for March 2012

Fifty-six properties scheduled for foreclosure sale this month.

Palm Cost, FL – February 29, 2012 – Fifty-six Flagler County properties are currently scheduled to be sold at foreclosure auction during March. The foreclosure process takes time. One scheduled property’s foreclosure was initiated in 2007. Of the remainder, 19.6 percent were initiated in 2008, 39.1 percent in 2009, 30.4 percent in 2010, and 8.9 percent in 2011. The number of scheduled March sales is down from 91 that were scheduled in February.

Not all scheduled sales are completed. In some cases, the sale is cancelled by the lender. In others, the property is sold via a short sale prior to the foreclosure sale. While researching this story, I came across a handful of scheduled properties that have been sold or returned to the lender via a deed in lieu. I did not include them in the following list. This is not a "final" list. Additional properties may be added to the schedule during the month.
Lender-owned properties are aggressively priced and typically sell very quickly. The arrival of these units onto the local market will likely spur additional Spring sales but at the same time hold down upward pricing pressures that are beginning to build in some segments of the market.
