Palm Coast Day’s Inn Next to Home Depot

Day’s Inn floated an original plan for a new hotel to Palm Coast’s Development Review Committee meeting last Friday.

Florida Palm Coast Flagler real estate Day's InnPalm Coast, Florida – July 15, 2008 – Palm Coast Day’s Inn brought their initial plan before Palm Coast’s Development Review Committee (DRC) on July 11. The DRC continued the application till next month, not due to any major defect in the application but because the applicant had not supplied all the required information. If approved, the new hotel would be built on a site at the north end of the Home Depot parking lot, with great visibility from I95, especially the southbound exit. The 4.41-acre parcel was purchased  by Smile Land Inc. in December, ’07 for $3.4 million from Sawgrass Partners II LLC.

This isn’t really a rumor, but the Day’s Inn is still very early in the approval process, so I put it here.
