Palm Coast, FL – December 14, 2012 – November saw 91 foreclosure filings in Flagler County but only 21 foreclosure sales were scheduled for December, down from 58 scheduled in November.
As usual, media reporting of Flagler’s foreclosure situation has little in common with the facts. Local foreclosure activity has remained quite stable for months. The number of foreclosure sales scheduled in December is below previous months, but that’s not unusual given the holidays.
Not all scheduled sales are completed. In some cases, sales are cancelled by the lender. In others, the property is sold via a short sale prior to the foreclosure sale. This is not a "final" list. Additional properties may be added to the schedule during the month.
The Just (Market) Value reported is as listed under "2012 certified" on the Flagler County Property Appraiser’s website.
