Job Fair for Local Businesses and Job Seekers Tomorrow

Flagler County Department of Economic Opportunity Partners with CareerSource Flagler/Volusia to Hold Multi-Disciplined Job Fair on June 5th

Palm Coast, FL – June 4, 2014 – GoToby.com wants to get the word out to its readers about tomorrow's Job Fair offered by the Flagler County Dept. of Economic Opportunity in partnership with CareerSource Flagler/Volusia.

Whether hoping to find a fresh start, a better job, or a new career direction, job seekers will find a wealth of exciting opportunities at the Flagler County free job fair. A variety of public and private sector employers will be accepting resumes for immediate and future openings in a wide range of disciplines.

Flagler County Department of Economic Opportunity,in partnership with CareerSource Flagler Volusia,is hosting thejob fair, 3p.m.to 7p.m.on Thursday, June 5, at the Flagler Emergency Services Operations Center, 1769 E. Moody Blvd. (behind the Government Services Building), in Bunnell."

In an effort to support the local businesses, booths are being offered to them free of charge; however, we are limited to a total of thirty business booths," Flagler County Department of Economic Opportunity Executive Director, Helga van Eckert said. "The job fair is one of our efforts to build a stronger, more resilient local economy. This job fair will connect Flagler County’s talented workers with employers who are hiring."

The partial list of companies that are participating includes: Aveo Engineering, CoastalCloud, Flagler Schools, Florida Hospital Flagler, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, Gioia SailsSouth, Hammock Beach Resort, Holly Group, Office Divvy, Sea Ray Boats, Spherion Staffing, and TBD Partners.

“Job Fairs are the ultimate in labor exchange –business seeking talent getting to meet our job seekers. This job fair will provide a tremendous opportunity to over 1,200 Flagler residents seeking employment,” stated Robin King, President and CEO CareerSource Flagler Volusia.
