Rumors that they had pulled out of their deal to come into the Home Depot Plaza are untrue.
October 4, 2007 – Palm Coast, Florida – Several people have told me that Houligans Irish Sports Pub had pulled out of their deal to go into the Home Depot Plaza. In fact, they are committed and delighted to be coming here. Their building permit was finalized yesterday. Houligans will be across from Outback.
The restaurant will be opened by the same locally grown company that currently owns and operates the successful Houligans at 1110 W. Granada Blvd. in Ormond Beach. Plans call for a build-out budget in excess of $1 million, which will include lots of TV screens. Houligans hopes to be in operation within 120 days. If you can’t wait till then, sample their menu at the Ormond Beach location. Palm Coast’s Economic Development Coordinator, Ira Corliss tells me that their wings are awesome.
Houligan’s
Hi, Toby:
They also have another restaurant at the Harley Davidson store. Ray & I have been going for years to the original Houligan’s and it’s awesome…their Wally Wings are the best ever!!!
Can’t wait for them to come to PC…we’ll be there at least once a week!
Dora Garcia
See you tomorrow night at Denim & Diamonds!!! I hope Shirley wins this year!
🙂
Houligans
Just got back from 3 weeks in Ireland and this is the best news yet! Fell in love with Smithwick’s Irish Ale. Hope they will have it on tap.
Glad rumor is false
That’s great news. I had just heard the other day that they had pulled out of PC and was disappointed. As usual Toby, you have your finger on the pulse of Palm Coast.
Houligans in Destination Daytona
Yeah, check out their newsest place in Destination Daytona (next to Love’s off I-95.) LOTS of big screen televisions. Went there Sunday and there must have been fans of at least 8 NFL teams gathered in various sections.
Good Food
Some friends and I have lunch quite often after playing tennis at the original Houligan’s and the new Houligan’s at Destination Daytona. We usually have chicken wings, buffalo chicken salad, french onion soup and the club sandwich. The food is always very good and also the service.
