HGTV’s Beachfront Bargain Hunt, Featuring Flagler Beach, to Air August 9th
The filming for this episode took place last September. The show walks viewers through the buying process and highlights the surrounding area.
PALM COAST, FL – July 23, 2015 – Finally. The Beachfront Bargain Hunt episode that locals have anticipated since HGTV’s filming last September has been put on the cable network’s broadcast schedule. You can watch it Sunday, August 9th at 8:30 P.M.
An HGTV crew spent four days filming in Flagler Beach and the surrounding area for the upcoming episode. Activity was observed at The Funky Pelican, Marineland, Washington Oaks and area beaches.
As Beachfront Bargain Hunt describes itself, “Each week we follow a family making their beachfront living dreams come true — on a budget! We'll follow them on the house hunt as we discover some of the most surprisingly affordable beachfront locales that prove you don't need to be a millionaire to live right on the beach.” That description hits Flagler Beach and its surrounding area’s sweet spot; beautiful weather, uncrowded beaches, trails, parks and affordable home prices. Flagler Beach with its iconic pier, shops and restaurants plus the scenic A1A corridor are truly unique.
Beachfront Bargain Hunt coming to Flagler Beach is a big deal for Flagler County and Palm Coast. The show not only walks viewers through the buying process, but also highlights the surrounding area. Credit for bringing Flagler Beach to the show’s attention goes to Real Estate agent Patricia (P.J.) Blackmon of Berkshire Hathaway HS Fortune Group Properties. P.J. will be the featured Realtor® representing the buyers in the episode.
Find previously aired episodes at the show’s website. I watched an episode and was impressed with the high quality of the production.
Film event
Yes,it will finally air. We lent them our rental kayaks and bikes (Tropical Kayaks at the Palm Coast Marina) and our Duffy Electric Boat to use for their property buyers excursion footage… It was fun watching them use their drone helicopter to film the shoot. It took hours for a few seconds of air time.
Flagler Beach
Just got back from a wonderful vacation in Flagler Beach. Highly recommend Flagler Beach Motel (quaint, clean and steps from the ocean) and The Golden Lion (great beach bar and the best fish and chips). The beaches are beautiful and large rocks up towards road allow for perfect seats to watch the sunrise and dolphins in the AM and a wonderful place for a peaceful lounge.
Live here and loving it!
My husband and I live in Palm Coast, Fl. There are so many thing to do here.. farmers markets, food truck events, hiking or biking trails, lots of boating activities not to mention enjoying the beautiful beaches. If you come here on vacation you won’t want to go home, you’ll want to make it home!!

Resident and loving it!!
My husband and I just love living in Palm Coast,FL. There is so much to do along with visiting the beaches. Not sure if this is allowed, but I’m a Realtor in Palm Coast and if anyone would like information on relocating here or finding a vacation home just ask..no strings attached just free information. I love this town and think everyone should be able to enjoy it. I can’t post my link here but you can find me on the Palm Coast Watson Realty Corp website under agents. “Andi” Pittenger. Come stay and play with us, you won’t want to go home, you’ll want to make it home.
Charming Flagler Beach!
I thought that it was interesting that the family chose a high-rise condo, MANY MILES away from Flagler Beach, while all the shots of the “fun, restaurants, activities, pier, PEOPLE” were in Flagler Beach. They might have been happier with a house in a REAL TOWN!
WHERE CAN I FIND IT?
We are in Palm Coast right now (September) looking for a new retirement home and would love to see a rerun of this show. Does anyone know where I can watch it on line?
We like Flagler and Palm Coast too. Now we just have to find a home to buy.
