Former Ginn/Lubert-Adler golf course near Charleston S.C. Sold
RiverTowne Country Club purchased by owner of nearby Snee Farm Country Club
Palm Coast, FL – March 2, 2012 – A premier golf property built by Ginn-LA (Bobby Ginn and financial partner Lubert-Adler) near Charleston, S.C. has been sold. The private RiverTowne Country Club was sold by Lubert-Adler to Jim Feeney’s RiverTowne Country Club LLC. Feeney also owns nearby Snee Farm Country Club. Both clubs are in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., just north of Charleston. Feeney paid $2.6 million for the 180 acres of River Towne real estate.
Like Ginn’s Conservatory and Ocean Courses in Palm Coast, RiverTowne Country Club once hosted a professional tour event; The Ginn Tribute, on the LPGA Tour.
