Flagler Votes Hob Nob Tonight – It’s Free

Who will earn your vote? Meet and mingle with 50 local, state and national candidates and/or their representatives. Vote in a Straw Poll.

PALM COAST, FL – August 11, 2016 – Flagler Votes hosts a free Hob Nob tonight from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Flagler County Association of Realtors Building, 4101 E Moody Blvd. in Bunnell. Meet and mingle with 50 local, state and national candidates and/or their representatives. Vote in a Straw Poll. 

The event, sponsored by the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce, Flagler County Association of Realtors and the Flagler Home Builders Association is free to the public. Light snacks will be provided. Beer and wine will also be available (for a donation).

This year is the election equivalent of The Perfect Storm, with several local, state and national races being contested. There will be no lack of candidates at tonight’s event. 50 candidates or candidate representatives have registered to attend to answer your questions. Here are the races along with the number (in parenthesis) of attending candidates or candidate representatives.

This is a table top event, guests will visit candidates at their tables, asking questions and having their “voter passports” initialed before turning them in for a chance to win prizes.

As part of their free admission, attendees will also receive a code to vote in an electronic “straw poll,” the results of which will be revealed at the end of the evening. 

There will also be a silent auction for three sporting event packages:

• Two Club tickets (35-yard line, 18 rows up) to the Jaguars/Tennessee Titans game, December 24th.
• Six tickets to a Jacksonville Suns baseball game, Saturday, Sept 3rd, 6:05 pm vs. Mobile Bay Bears   
• Two upgraded tickets to THE PLAYERS Championship Golf Tournament at TPC Sawgrass, Sunday, May 14, 2017. Admission includes access to The Turn hospitality chalet between hole 9 and 18.
