Bank of America Lifts Foreclosure Halt in 23 States, Including Florida

B of A resumes foreclosures in the 23 states requiring a judicial foreclosure. The bank says it will restart the process on 102,000 loans by resubmitting affidavits.

Palm Coast, FL – October 18, 2010 – Bank of America will resume foreclosure actions in the 23 states requiring judicial foreclosures, including Florida. The bank says it will restart the process on 102,000 loans by resubmitting affidavits.
Bank of America along with several other large lending institutions had halted foreclosure sales last week when they discovered that thousands of sworn affidavits had been submitted without proper verification.
