August Foreclosure Sales Scheduled for Flagler Co., FL Properties

As in previous months, few properties scheduled for sale are homesteaded, implying that most foreclosures are second homes or investment properties.

Palm Cost, FL – August 7, 2010 – Several Flagler County properties are scheduled to be sold at foreclosure sales in August. As in recent months, few properties are homesteaded, implying that most foreclosures are second homes or investment properties. Most were purchased at the height of the real estate bubble.
In addition to the homes, condominiums and vacant building lots listed below, the August foreclosure schedule includes two Flagler County parcels owned by the developer of City Walk. Both parcels are scheduled to be sold Wednesday, August 11.
One is a 4.33-acre parcel located on Cypress Point Pkwy adjacent to City Walk. The developer had once planned to construct an apartment complex on the site. The parcel, assessed for $351,873, was purchased in 2004 for $850,000.
The second parcel is 10.2-acres adjacent to the Holiday Inn Express (SR 100 at Interstate 95) assessed for $141,912. It was purchased in 2003 for $300,000.
