Another New Flagler County Radio Station On the Air
WNZF NewsRadio 1550am announces WBHQ Beach 92.7fm music station.
Palm Coast, Florida – April 25, 2009 – Palm Coast and the rest of Flagler County, Florida have a brand new radio station. WBHQ -Beach 92.7fm was purchased by Flagler County Broadcasting LLC and licensed to the city of Beverly Beach. The station went live yesterday.
The new station has 6000 watts erp and covers from St. Augustine to Daytona Beach. Flagler County Broadcasting LLC also owns WNZF NewsRadio 1550am which also simulcasts on 106.3fm.
“Beach 92.7 is the perfect compliment to NewsRadio 1550am WNZF” said General Manager, David Ayres. “The Beach 92.7 is the anti-radio station because we don’t have local DJ’s saying stupid things.” It’s like an I-pod shuffle only our I-Pod is bigger than your I-Pod. “We play everything” said Marc Gilliland Program Director.
Laura Zublionis (Laura Zee) will be a familiar voice on the new station keeping everybody informed of local events and happenings.
The studios and transmitter are in Flagler County, Florida.
