99-Bed Adult Living Facility Approved for Cypress Point Parkway

The Azure of Palm Coast will join recently opened Sabal Palms, Tuscan Gardens (under construction) and Market Street (under construction) in Palm Coast’s underserved ALF market.

PALM COAST – May 22, 2018 – In a May 16th meeting, Palm Coast’s Planning and Land Development Regulation Board (PLDRB) approved a development order for the construction of The Azure of Palm Coast, an 80-unit, 99-bed Adult Living Facility (ALF).

The Azure will be built on 4.07 acres next to City Market Place on Cypress Point Pkwy. The 2-story building will be 67,280 square feet and will offer assisted living and memory care. NXC Palm Coast Owner LLC, of Denver, plans to begin construction as soon as possible.

The Azure will join three other new ALF’s in Palm Coast:

• Sabal Palms, on Palm Harbor Pkwy, opened early this year, offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
• Tuscan Gardens, on Colbert Lane plans to open by the end of the year offering assisted living and memory care.
• Market Street Memory Care (46,000 square feet and 64 units) on Corporate Drive is nearing completion.

A 2007 zoning change will enable development of Wind Chant, a planned 50-acre multi-use master planned development on the west side of US 1 south of Palm Coast Pkwy. Wind Chant will include a 138-unit ALF offering assisted living and memory care as well as five out-parcels for various medical and retail related service.
