Your Voice, Your Future: Take Palm Coast’s Online Citizens Survey

For the first time ever, all Palm Coast residents now have the opportunity to take the City’s annual comprehensive citizen survey through an online version of the survey.

PALM COAST, FL – December 3, 2015 – For the first time ever, all Palm Coast residents now have the opportunity to take the City’s annual comprehensive citizen survey through an online version of the survey.

The survey is now live and will remain open through the end of December. The website is at www.n-r-c.com/survey/palmcoastsurvey.htm. The survey may also be accessed through the City of Palm Coast website at www.palmcoastgov.com – look for the “National Citizen Survey” button right on the homepage.

“You can complete the survey in the time it takes for a cup of coffee – about 10 to 15 minutes,” said City Administration Coordinator Denise Bevan. “The survey is anonymous, and you can answer just the questions you choose to answer.”

The online option is in addition to the regular mail-in survey conducted for the City by National Citizen Survey each year. In early November, 1,400 surveys from the National Citizen Survey were mailed to randomly selected residents, with representation from each of the City’s four districts.

The City of Palm Coast has been participating in the National Citizen Survey annually since 2002, but this is the first time for the online component open to all residents.

The City uses the survey results to improve city services. Palm Coast’s results are compared to more than 500 other local governments across the United States. The feedback received from residents is presented to the Palm Coast City Council and is used for strategic planning and to help City leaders set priorities for the next fiscal year.

“The City Council and staff evaluate the survey results and use them to guide future City priorities and budget decisions,” Bevan said. “This is a great opportunity to voice your opinion on matters related to the future of Palm Coast.”

Street lights where we live as there are no sidewa

I love Palm Coast and think that the city is doing a fine job We moved here in August of 1999.The only thing that worries me is that we need more street lights where people live . It is so dark at night and in the morning for students and people walking their dogs . It would be different if there were sidewalks and we did not have to walk in the street . Some cars and trucks do not get over when they pass us. It is scary .Thank you and keep up the good work .

    Landscaping on 100

Waited, with great anticipation, when I heard a radio broadcast announcing the funding for landscaping, from I95, on 100, toward Flagler Beach. The announced plan said it would be similar to, as nice as, the work on Palm Coast Pkwy west to Rt 1.
What a huge disappointment. Not 1 Palm tree, trees that only bloom a few months of the year? Adding insult to injury the beautiful HUGE palms at the new sheriffs facility, the fantastic new landscaping on Palm Coast Pkwy….
Who in the word designed this disappointment? It’s not a very impressive welcome to lovely Palm Coast.
