Overall Flagler housing prices hit bottom in 2009. A few wealthier communities held on for another year. Since, which communities have had the greatest recovery from their respective lows?
PALM COAST, FL – January 24, 2018 – The housing recession is over. Flagler County and Palm Coast home prices are rising at rates well above the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Residents are mostly above water and happy with their regained equity.
The Hammock Dunes DRI is comprised of Hammock Beach, Ocean Hammock, Cinnamon Beach, Hammock Dunes, Island Estates, and Harbor Village Marina/Yacht Harbor. It along with Palm Coast Plantation and Grand Haven are wealthier communities and suffered less value reduction and fewer short sales and foreclosures. Their recovery percentage is consequently lower than those communities that took big price hits.
Seminole Woods had the highest percentage of both distressed sales and price recovery. Flagler Beach, Grand Haven, and Palm Harbor showed better than average recovery, even though they had generally fewer distressed sales, signaling that these markets are particularly strong today.
