Pizza, Nails, and a New Deli, but no Pier 1 Imports.

Another retail update for Palm Coast and Flagler County, FL

October 31, 2007 – Palm Coast, FL – A few smaller businesses have made commitments to be in Palm Coast and Flagler County. The following have been issued building permits by the City of Palm Coast for retail interior renovation:

  • Pronto Pizzeria – located at 260 Cypress Edge Dr, Space A-15 Suite 115. The value of the permit was $12,000.
  • Super Nails – at 260 Cypress Edge Dr, Space A-5. Job value $30,000
  • Anthony’s Pizzeria Inc.1280 Palm Coast Pkwy, Suites 209 & 210. Job value $30,000

Also, Strathmore Bagels & Deli opened Oct 24 for Breakfast & Lunch featuring NY Style Deli &  water bagels made fresh on site . It’s located at the old Food Factory on Palm Coast Parkway Between Belle Terre & Pine Cone.

On the down side, I’ve been told that Pier 1 Imports will not be coming to Palm Coast. Their only current Florida commitment is in Port St. Lucie.

Very tasty selection. Small shop with a few tables. Great prices. Friendly owners, Elena and Robert! Give them a try too.

I checked out the bagels – Like them very much – Finally we have a bagel place that does not run out of bagels at 10 o’clock in the morning.

    Strathmore Bagels

This place is what our area has needed for such a long time. The bagels, Bialys, Flagels and sticks are the best. They are boiled than hearth oven baked which gives them a true bagel taste and the cream cheeses have huge chunks of vegetables, lox, strawberries or whatever. They have so many choices and loads of varieties for low fat too. But better than that, they make their own baked goods from Rye breads, to Rugalach, to cookies, muffins, balck & whites, crumb cake, cheese cake, chocolate cake rice pudding and I can go on and on.(sorry I was on a roll, oops I mean bagel!)
If you haven\\’t tried it yet you are missing a culinary treat. I haven\\’t even discussed the homemade soups which I am already addicted to.
