Flagler BeachPALM COAST, FL – May 18, 2019 – For the second time, HGTV will feature a Flagler Beach home on its popular Beachfront Bargain Hunt: Renovation show. The latest episode follows a New York couple as they look for their oceanfront dream home. They found it in Flagler Beach, but the home needed a major overhaul.

The show will air on HGTV Saturday, May 18th, at 9:00 P.M. Credit John Horan, Broker of Palm Wave Realty, for bringing Flagler Beach to the attention of HGTV again.

As Beachfront Bargain Hunt describes itself, “Each week we follow a family making their beachfront living dreams come true — on a budget! We'll follow them on the house hunt as we discover some of the most surprisingly affordable beachfront locales that prove you don't need to be a millionaire to live right on the beach.” That description hits Flagler Beach and its surrounding area’s sweet spot; beautiful weather, uncrowded beaches, trails, parks, and affordable oceanfront home prices. Flagler Beach with its iconic pier, shops, and restaurants plus the scenic A1A corridor are truly unique.

Beachfront Bargain Hunt coming to Flagler Beach is a big deal for Flagler County and Palm Coast. The show not only walks viewers through the buying process but also highlights the surrounding area. The first local episode of Beachfront Bargain Hunt to feature Flagler Beach aired in August 2015 with Patricia (P.J.) Blackmon as the featured local real estate agent.

    Flagler renovation

My wife and I watch HGTV every week and have never been more surprised by the renovation of this beachfront property by Rome and Victoria from NY. The finished home was fantastic. I cannot believe however that all this work was completed for just $110,000. I realize that much of the work was done by Rome and Victoria and friends but I would have thought the costs were closer to $300,000 or more. Congratulations to Rome and Victoria as they should have their own renovation show on HGTV.
