Flagler County School Board Candidates Debate Tonight
They spend our money and oversee the education of our next generation. You should care who they are. Try to be there.
Palm Coast, Florida – August 6, 2008 – Because of the importance of this year’s Flagler County School Board primary election race, the Flagler Homebuilders Association, the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce & Affiliates, and the Flagler County Association of REALTORS® will hold a debate for five candidates competing for two seats.
The public is encouraged to observe the candidates discuss local school district issues at the Palm Coast Community Center (305 Palm Coast Pkwy. NE) today, Aug. 6 from 6 to 8 pm.
Lucy Green Davis, Charlie Gambaro, Andy Dance , have been invited to face off from District 1 and Brian Abrams and Sue Dickinson have been invited from District 4.
Within the forum, which will include a moderator, each of the candidates will be allowed a three-minute introduction and then be asked a series of questions for which they will be allowed two minutes to respond.

Each candidate will also be allowed a one-minute rebuttal to each of the others’ questions. Additionally, candidates will question the other candidates in their district, one at a time.
The organizations plan to host debates for the other Flagler County political races following the Aug. 26 primary. The school board election is the only competitive local race which could be decided in the primary election.
