Flagler County Parade of Homes 2013 Begins

This year with 22 homes plus 2 virtual homes, a Showcase Community and three Featured Communities

Palm Coast, FL – March 15, 2013 – The Flagler Homebuilders Association kicks of its 2013 Parade of Homes tomorrow. The event spans two weekends from March 16 – 24. This year’s event is comprised of 22 homes plus 2 virtual homes. Also participating is Palm Coast Plantation, this year’s Showcase Community, and three Featured Communities; Beach Haven, Conservatory at Hammock Beach and Wild Oaks at Grand Haven.
The 2013 Showcase Home is “The St. George” by Keystone Homes.
Parade hours are Monday – Saturday 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Sunday Noon to 5:00 P.M. To see this year’s catalog, click Parade of Homes or click on the ad to the right.
New home construction is off to a good start in 2013. Twice as many residential building permits have been issued through the first two months compared to last year.
In the month of February, permits 28 new home permits were issued in Flagler County.
Those homes will generate an estimated $3 million in local income, local business owner revenues of $850,000, support 78 local jobs and $2.2 million in local wages and salaries and the collection of $563,000 in taxes and fees.
Year to date, 65 homes have been permitted in Flagler County, generating an estimated $7.1 million in local income, local business owner revenue of $1.9 million, supported 181 local jobs and $5.1 million in local wages and salaries and the collection of $1.3 million in taxes and fees.
