City of Palm Coast Schedules Neighborhood Meetings to get Community Input

Have a Say about Your Neighborhood’s Future. If you don’t speak up, you can’t complain about not being heard.

Palm Coast, FL – July 20, 2009 – The City of Palm Coast is looking for feedback from residents in your neighborhood. As part of a State mandate to update the City’s Comprehensive Plan, staff is organizing seven individual neighborhood meetings this summer to pull together community input regarding various community issues, which include
  •  Identifying treasures that Palm Coast should preserve
  • Recognizing the community’s future hopes for their City
  • Exploring future issues and challenges for the City of Palm Coast
  • Pinpointing what residents value about Palm Coast
The first meeting, geared toward residents living in the Grand Haven and Woodlands sections of the City, (the area of the City south of Palm Coast Parkway and east of Interstate 95) is scheduled for Monday, July 27th, 6:30 P.M. at the Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE. Representatives from the University of Central Florida and Florida State University will moderate the evening’s program.
 
The second meeting, geared toward residents living in the ‘C’ and ‘F’ sections of the City, is scheduled for Thursday, July 30th 6:30 p.m. at Matanzas High School, 3535 Old Kings Road. Meetings for additional City neighborhoods will be scheduled soon.
