Centex Suspends Plans for Marineland Condominiums. Seeks Buyer
Centex has decided not to proceed with the approved Marineland condo project.
March 8, 2007 – Centex Destination Properties previously received approval for development of a part of their holdings in Marineland. Located along the Atlantic coast on US A1a at the northern edge of Flagler County, Marineland has more dolphins than people. Centex Destination Properties had received approval for the development of a condominium project. I hear that they have decided not to proceed with the project and are seeking buyers.
The status of other Flagler County Centex projects is:
- Marineland – suspended, for sale.
- Tidelands – Still under development. Several units completed and closed. Four Intracoastal units closing by March 31.
- Palm Coast Resort – Construction suspended after one condominium unit and parking garage completed. Condo/Hotel and two additional condo buildings suspended and permits withdrawn.
- Bulow Shores – Still active. Reservation deposits have not been returned.
- Palm Harbor Golf Course – Centex will not proceed with golf course plans. The City of Palm Coast is negotiating for completed development and conversion to public use.

I am looking and snoopin around to see who i need to talk to, to get the details of the sale of Marineland.
Can you assist? If not I fully and truly understand.
Thanks
Steve Bennett
golf course
The city should buy the golf course. And lease back the use of the golf course to centex or the next builder that comes along,And still give the people of Palm Coast a place to golf. That is just good business.
Misrepresentations Made To PCR Earl
As an investor in the Palm Coast Resort condo building that is nearing completion, along with several other investors, we view that Centex’s changes to the PCR development represent material changes that in effect consistute default on their part and provide sufficient grounds for each and every investor to rescind their real estate contracts with Centex with expectation to receive 100% refund of their invested funds.
