Who is going to regulate this business?
This business has not been regulated by DBPR since they issued licenses to operate as a STVR. The Governor’s 14 day quarantine has not been enforced. Why are you stoping people coming into Florida? If you are not enforcing the Governor’s orders?
The STVR industry has been operating unregulated for years. This business operation is the most dangerous public lodging operations for consumers. Flagler County tax revenue is base on this business. When will this commission wake up? How can you rely on this transient business for your only revenue? When will you start seeking companies to supplement this operation. To rely on this industry for county tax base is crazy.
We need to start voting these incompetent politicians out. Let’s start with Senator Hutson.
