Talk about Town: What’s Going on Next to Walmart?
Site development work has begun on the site next to Walmart – across the road from Golden Corral. There is a medical building coming soon; two restaurants and an office/retail building later.
Palm Coast, FL – July 27, 2011 – My phone and email have been busy the past few days. Readers have asked about the site development work in Cobblestone Village next to Walmart and across the street from Golden Coral. This site was recently approved for four buildings; a medical building, two restaurants, and an office/retail building. Florida Memorial Hospital has purchase part of the site for a planned medical building. The other parcels remain available. The photo faces south toward Cobbleston Village. Walmart would be to the right, Glolden Coral to the left.
What’s Going on …
That area has the most convoluted traffic pattern I’ve seen in a long time and to date, there hasn’t been a lot of it. All they need around there is more places people will think twice about driving to.
It’s hard to believe any thought was put into the Lowe’s area traffic flow and the Cobblestone Village or whatever it’s called now, is a total nightmare.
Whatever they’re selling back there can be found elsewhere, so why drive in circles when you don’t need to.

Why spen money for medical buildins and offices to be built in a hard to get to area when ther are several vacancies at the new buildings on 100 near 95. The airport busines center on airport road has just gooten some tenants and there’s still some empty space. What about all the vacancies in the town center and the area that the city is renting whatever the name is now there along Cypress Point Parkway???
