Large Coquina Boulders on SR100 East of Old Kings Road – Why are They There?

Is it going to be an entrance to a new development?

Flagler County construction debris siteJuly 14, 2007 – Palm Coast, Florida – Several people have asked me what the newly installed coquina boulders are for on the south side of SR100, just east of Old Kings Road. Is it another Ginn project? No, it’s not. The parcel is owned by Flagler County. Looking back on the property, you will find debris from road construction projects (broken concrete slabs). The boulders were installed to beautify the site and block the roadside view of the debris. This site is directly across SR100 from the southern entrance to the future JX Properties community.
