Flagler Rotary’s Annual Holiday Fantasy Lights Begins Dec 1st

In its fourth year, the charitable fund raising event has grown from sixteen to twenty-eight themed light displays, many of them animated.

Holiday Fantasy Lights - Flagler and Palm CoastPalm Coast, FL – November 30, 2009 – The Rotary Club of Flagler County and sponsors, The City of Palm Coast and Palm Coast Holdings, invite everyone to attend the fourth annual Holiday Fantasy Lights event. The free event will be available for viewing every night from 6:30 to 9:00 between December 1st and December 30th. As last year, the event will be staged at Town Center.
Event Features:
  • 28 Themed light displays line the walkway around Town Center’s Central Park Fountain and lake
  • Concession stands run by local non-profit groups provide holiday snacks, drinks, and specialty items
  • Performances such as steel bands, children’s choirs, Elvis, and more…..fill the December calendar
  • The James Guines Art Gallery will unveil the work of Flagler County Students on opening night and remain displayed for viewing throughout the month
  • An Art Exhibit to celebrate the City’s 10th Birthday created by the art students of the Hollingsworth Gallery
  • A Purple Pinkie means freedom from Polio. Rotarians at the Purple Pinkie Booth will be coloring pinkies
  • Flagler Beach Rotary & Project Share, a program mobilized to assist local homeless students, will be selling Luminaries for $3.00 on Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays
Golf carts will be available for those in need at the event.
Town Center is most easily accessed via Bulldog Drive (across from the Flagler County Airport) or via Central Avenue (off Belle Terre at the Town Center Publix).

    HOLIDAY FANTASY LIGHTS is a nightly, FREE event. Each evening between 6:30 and 9:00 p.m., you can join us for an evening stroll around Central Park in Town Center.

    This jaunt will include 27 themed light displays; Concession Stands (run by local non-profits); Performance from local organizations; The Dr. James Guines Art Gallery; An Art installation from the Hollingsworth Gallery; and more.

    …you won’t be alone. Friends and Neighbors abound.

    12/15: Buddy Taylor Middle School
    12/16: Matanzas HS Apprentice Choir
    12/17:
    12/18: Palm Coast 7th Day Adventus Church Choir
    12/19: North East Florida Dance Academy at 7pm, and the Elvis Holiday Showcase at 8pm.
