Cypress Knoll Golf and Country Club

Public Golf Course in Palm Coast, Florida

Cypress Knoll

This Gary Player course was built on wetlands. Most of the greens are small and hidden from the tee box and require accurate tee shots to small landing areas in the fairways. The course has tree-lined fairways and high underbrush under the trees. The greens are small and mostly level with the fairways and not elevated. They are generally fairly flat with very little undulation. Along the side of most of the fairways, there are stream beds, which are often dry. When these streams have water in them they can prove to be a hazard to deal with if your shot goes astray, for the fairways drop off to the stream beds. The signature hole is #2, a 191-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a marsh to a very small green with sand bunkers left front, back, and to the right.
