Epic Theatres Opens 14-screen Movie Complex in Palm Coast’s Town Center Today

Note that they spell Theatre with an re rather than er. That gives it more class – and it does have class.

Epic Theater in Palm Coast from GoToby.comPalm Coast, FL – June 25, 2010 – Epic Theatre opens its 14-screen movie theater complex in Palm Coast’s Town Center today. Not since the arrival of Target and Kohl’s have Palm Coast residents been so excited about a new business opening locally. Today’s public opening was preceded by a Wednesday evening reception and special screening for local leaders. I was fortunate enough to be among those invited. Shirley and I enjoyed "Knight and Day," which stars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.
For Flagler County residents, Epic was a long time coming, but the wait was worth it. Just how classy is Epic? They spell Epic Theaters with an "re" rather than "er." Really, the family-owned DeLand-based company did a great job. Each of the 14 auditoriums is set up with stadium seating and comfortable leatherette high backed rockers. You can fold the arms back if you want to sit closer to your date. Each auditorium sports digital projectors and Dolby sound. Six are equipped to show 3-D movies.
Epic is located at 1185 Central Avenue in the heart of Palm Coast’s new Town Center. You can reach them by calling 386-206-9757.

    Yay!

Forget about how expensive movies are, the prices are the same at theatres everywhere. I love that I can now go to dinner and a movie in "My Town Palm Coast " and benefit businesses locally. Love it, Love it, Love it!!!

    Yea Epic!

With all my calls to Epic and e-mails and messages here, I am happy to say the theatres (sic) are everything I hoped they would be and much more! While the auditoriums are small the screens are large and the pictures sharp. The sound is awesome. The price is a little higher than Regal, but you don’t have to drive to Ormond to see a movie any more.
