Be an Informed Voter: Attend Flagler Votes Candidate Forum TONIGHT
Tonight’s forum at the Hilton Garden Inn gives you an excellent opportunity to meet and listen to candidates and learn where they stand on issues important to you.
Palm Coast, FL – August 4, 2014 –Whatever you views, you should vote for the candidates best qualified and most aligned with your interests. But do you know the candidates? 2014 is an important year for local and state elections. The Chamber of Commerce, Flagler County Association of Realtors and Flagler Home Builders Association host “Flagler Votes Forum,” at the Hilton Garden Inn TONIGHT, August 4 from 6PM to 9PM.
Arrive early for an informal social hour with cash bar and light snacks starting at 5:00 P.M. Candidates running for Circuit Court Judge have been invited to attend the social hour, but will not participate in the Q&A portion.
The Forum will start at 6:00 P.M., featuring candidates participating in the primary elections for positions on the Flagler County Commission, Flagler County School Board, Palm Coast City Council and State Senate. The event will be accurately timed by yours truly and hosted by WNZF’s Dave Ayers.
The Chamber, Association of Realtors and Home Builders Association have a long and successful track record of hosting nonpartisan Flagler Votes Forums before elections. Candidates get to answer tough questions, discuss issues and talk about their qualifications for serving in government roles.
Questions asked during the Q&A segment have been prepared in advance by a committee representing the three host organizations. These questions are kept confidential and never shared with candidates in advance. To ensure that all candidates have adequate time to speak, questions will not be taken from the audience. That’s why you don’t want to miss the social hour.
