Median Household Income – How Does Flagler County Stack Up?

Flagler County’s median household income in 2016 was $50,863, 24th among Florida’s 67 counties and about equal to Florida’s median of $50,857. St. Johns tops Florida’s county list at $78,544.

PALM COAST, FL – December 1, 2017 – Flagler County’s median household income in 2016 was $50,863, 24th among Florida’s 67 counties and about equal to Florida’s median of $50,857. St. Johns tops the Florida county list with a median household income of $78,544.

The United States median household income was $57,617. Not surprising, the top four counties in the country are in the Washington DC area; Loudoun County, Va. With $134,609, Howard County, Md. With $119,286, Falls Church, Va. at $118,035, and Fairfax County, Va. at $115,518. Compare these to Holmes County, Miss. With only $22,045.

Florida’s $50,857 ranks 39th among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
