November 13, 2006 - Phase 1 of Eagle Lakes I has the infrastructure in place for 111 homesites. Most of the sites are 80 feet wide with plenty of depth for a large home. They are listed as Lakefront, Interior, or Preserve. Eagle Lakes was originally under contract to be built by Masterpiece Homes but Masterpiece has pulled out of the contract. The developer, Scott Delanoy (Hometown Communities) expects the plats to be filed within a month or so. there will be three participating builders - Hometown Communities, Howell Homes, and Charles Renik. Phase 1 will consist of Southern Style homes. No amenities are planned for phase 1. Homes are priced from the $310 thousands with homesites priced from the $110 thousands.

The developer says that Phase 2, to the north of Phase 1 is planned as a gated community with pool and tennis amenities.
