Grand Reserve West

Grand Reserve is a mixed use development planned by Landmar. Located west of Roberts Rd. and  north of SR100, it will be comprised of 300 homes and 100,000 SF of commercial space over 144 acres. 

Rezoning from  to Planned Unit Development (PUD) was not approved at the June 19th meeting of the County Commissioners. Concerns were raised over the final disposal plan for quantities of Cement Kiln Dust (CKD) found on the site. The concentration of the contaminants was slightly higher than allowed in a residential area but well below that allowed in a commercial area. Local environmentalists applied pressure to the board, causing them to re-agenda the item for August 7th.

At the August 7th meeting, the item was tabled to the August 21st meeting.

Update: This project is on hold as LandMar and its parent company (Crescent Resources) deal with a chapter 11 bankruptcy.
