Ocean Hammock is an 1100 acre gated, master planned community designed around the Jack Nicklaus Signature Ocean Hammock Golf Club with 8 holes that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. The course is the first to be built on the ocean in Florida in over 70 years. The golf course was sold in 2007 to the Ginn Company. Ocean Hammock property owners were given a limited -time opportunity (until 5/31/07) to join both the Hammock Beach Club and the golf course.
