The Grand Club - Pine Course

The Grand Club is a new entity in Palm Coast, formed late in 2003 when The Landmar Group and Hampton Golf purchased three courses (Matanzas Woods, Pine Lakes, and Cypress Knoll) from Ocean Hammock Resorts (Lowe) in Palm Coast, FL. The Grand Club is currently semi-private. When renovations are completed over all three courses and clubhouses (estimated fall '07)/ the courses will become private.

The Pines

This course has well-maintained greens that vary from medium to large in size and somewhat open fairways. There are sixty-three white sand bunkers spread throughout the course and water hazards that come into play on eleven holes. Every club in your bag is needed here. The longest of the four original courses at Palm Coast, Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay created a shot-making challenge with tree-lined rolling fairways and well-trapped greens. In addition, there's water on 10 holes to add to the challenge. Fortunately for big hitters, it can also be forgiving. Long-iron approach shots are not uncommon.

Grand Club renovation schedule:

  • Cypress Course renovation - completed fall '05
  • Cypress clubhouse opened in '07
  • Pine course renovation - Completed in December '06
  • Pine course clubhouse renovation - Reopened in January '07
  • Matanzas course renovation and new clubhouse scheduled for 2008 or later

SALE PENDING - This $99,000 lot in Ginn's Conservatory was originally purchased for $339,900. It backs to a preserve area and has a golf membership available for $20,000. It's bank owned, not a short sale. That means this is the real price.
