Question: Is City Walk just going to be the world's longest lasting construction project, or will there really be stores there someday, and any rumors of which stores/businesses?
Toby Says: There are finally some closings to report in City Walk. These sales were recorded on May 21, 2008. I have not heard which businesses have committed to locate in City Walk.

Question: What is the definition of "Quitclaim Deed"? What are the advantages of one?
Toby Says: With a quitclaim deed, the grantor merely releases or relinquishes all rights, title, or interest that he or she may have had in the real property without making any covenants for title or claiming any interest. It is often used to clear title issues. It's also often used to remove a party from the title, for instance after a divorce.
Question: Have you heard any rumor that the Ginn Company is NOT going to build the Beach Club at Tesoro in Port St. Lucie?
Toby Says: When a Ginn representative was asked, they replied that the Beach Club is not part of their current plans.
Question: I thought I read Under the City of Palm Coast "Week in Review" by the city manager that Sonics was looking for a Palm Coast Location, any more on the subject? Also that there was a National Sporting Goods store coming, Is that the building going up on Rt. 100 near the street and the new McDonalds?
Toby Says: The person who is trying to build a Sonics already owns the parcel on the northeast corner of SR 100 and Bulldog, across from the high school. He has not had much luck getting a permit from the city, probably because Bulldog is planned to be expanded as the "main entrance" to
The building next to the SR 100 McDonalds to the west will be Prosperity Bank. The Building to the east will contain several businesses including Panda Express, Subway, Mattress Giant, and Tropical Smoothie.
Question: In the recent condo sales, I do not see any resale's from
Toby Says: My "Recent Sales" numbers are as reported through the Flagler Association of Realtors® MLS. Ginn's sales group is not a member of the association and does not report sales to it. Ginn's sales organization is what is termed a "captive" sales group, selling only within a predefined market – Ginn properties. The information is available through public records. I'm currently working to compile these for Ginn, WCI Communities (Hammock Dunes) and Centex. I hope to have something on the website within a month.
