Conservatory Golf Course at Hammock Beach Club
Opened in November, 2006 with an appearance by course designer Tom Watson, The Conservatory Golf Course combines dramatic elevation changes and large undulating greens, features seldom found on Florida courses. Among the courses highlights are an impressive length of 7,746 yards, six tee boxes, a signature island green, 75 acres of man-made lakes, and 140 bunkers. Featuring a spectacular elevated clubhouse with a glassed conservatory and magnificent views, the course is spread over 140 acres and bounded by homesites intended for upscale homes, a trademark of The Ginn Company developments. On March 2, 2007, the Conservatory will host one of the biggest events of the 2007 PGA Champions Tour. The inaugural Ginn Champion will boast a $2.5 million purse.
The Conservatory Golf Club will join Ocean Hammock, the Jack Nicklaus signature oceanfront course recently purchased by Ginn <read about purchase> and the Fred Couples designed course at the still to be completed Gardens development. This will give Ginn property owners a possible choice of three exclusive courses in the Palm Coast / Flagler County area.
